<\/a><\/p>\nAt the Faculty of Law and Economics of the Kyrgyz \u2013 Uzbek International University , the Department of Economics, Management, and Social Work has launched a thematic week titled\u00a0 \u00ab Social work \u2013 a profession of a Human society\u00bb, dedicated to the International Day of older persons ( October1) , and the Day of Social protection and trade union workers of the Kyrgyz Republic ( October 19).\u00a0 As part of the thematic week, various activities were held with the participation of students specializing in \u00ab Social work\u00bb.<\/p>\n
The goal of the thematic week- is to deepen student\u2019s understanding of the importance of the \u00ab social work\u00bb profession\u00a0 in society, to cultivate compassion, humanity, and moral values and\u00a0 to enhance their professional motivation\u00a0 by engaging youth in socially beneficial activities.<\/p>\n
As part of the thematic week, the following activities are being held :<\/p>\n
An open lesson on the topic \u00ab Causes of violence and abuse against children in the family\u00bb<\/p>\n
The charity fair \u00ab A step toward Kindness\u00bb , which has become a cherished tradition.<\/p>\n
A concert program titled \u00ab Social work \u2013 a profession of a human society\u00bb.<\/p>\n
A charity event at the \u00ab House of Mercy\u00bb \u00a0orphanage in the Osh city.<\/p>\n
An open educational lesson on the topic \u00ab \u00a0A home with the elderly is a home of well \u2013 being\u00bb.<\/p>\n
These activities have laid the foundation for enhancing student\u2019s social responsibility and promoting national and human values.<\/p>\n
