At the Batyraly Sydykov Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University, a literary and poetic evening was held in honor of the Kazakh poet, translator, and Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Osh, Mukhtar Akhat uulu Karibay.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The event was dedicated to strengthening the literary and cultural ties between the Kyrgyz and Kazakh peoples, highlighting their spiritual closeness. In the poet\u2019s works, themes of love for the homeland, friendship between nations, and the richness of cultural heritage are vividly reflected.
\nThe evening was opened by the university\u2019s rector, Doctor of Economics and Professor Abdilbayet Mamassydykov, who emphasized the educational importance of such meetings for students. He noted that conversations with exemplary figures in a question-and-answer format provide valuable guidance for young people. The rector expressed gratitude to Mukhtar Karibay, stressing his significant contribution to strengthening Kyrgyz-Kazakh cooperation not only in the political but also in the cultural sphere.
\nDuring the event, faculty members and students of the History and Philology Department presented reports on the poet\u2019s creative work and recited his verses. Consul General Mukhtar Karibay thanked the organizers, noting that large-scale literary events play an important role in bringing young people closer to books and culture. He spoke about the brotherhood of the Kyrgyz and Kazakh peoples, the similarities in their culture, literature, and way of life, and read several of his own poems and translations. His poem \u201cMy Father\u2019s Skullcap\u201d left a deep impression on the audience, inspiring reflection and emotion.
\nThe evening continued with an open dialogue between students and the poet. At the conclusion, the poet-diplomat presented his author\u2019s book as a gift to the university. In return, Rector Abdilbayet Mamassydykov expressed gratitude on behalf of the institution and presented the honored guest with commemorative gifts.
