Russian Language and Literature Week Concludes at KUMU

At the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after B. Sydykov, a solemn closing ceremony was held for the Week of Russian Language and Literature, organized by the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Faculty of History and Philology.

The event was attended by the university administration, faculty members, students, as well as guests from the Russian House in Osh. In their speeches, participants highlighted the importance of the Russian language in education and cultural exchange.

As a result of the week-long program, winners of competitions, creative and intellectual projects were awarded diplomas, certificates of honor, and valuable gifts.

The creative program featured students reciting poetry, presenting theatrical performances, and performing musical and choreographic numbers. Artistic presentations dedicated to Russian culture received high praise from the audience and became a bright highlight of the event.

In her closing remarks, Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor Zhannat Kadenova, expressed gratitude to the department and all active participants, after which the week was officially declared closed.
