At the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after B. Sydykov, a Center for the Study and Promotion of the Cultural Heritage of the outstanding composer, singer, performer, and virtuoso accordionist Ryspai Abdykadyrov will be established.
University Rector, Professor Abdilbayet Mamassydykov, held a meeting with Sultan Boroshov Chairman of the International Club named after Ryspai Abdykadyrov, during which the program for the opening of the center was discussed.
According to available information, the center will feature a bust of the composer, his personal belongings, sheet music, books, articles, newspaper and magazine publications, as well as video and audio materials dedicated to his creative work.
A special meeting was held with the participation of responsible officials, where tasks were assigned to ensure the organizational, logistical, and cultural-aesthetic preparation of the center.
It should be noted that earlier this year Professor Abdilbayet Mamassydykov was elected Honorary President of the International Club named after Ryspai Abdykadyrov and awarded the club’s First-Class Order.
The distinguished composer Ryspai Abdykadyrov was born on January 12, 1941. His songs – “Oskon zher”, “Tugoyum”, “Esindebi”, “Zhurok valsy”, “Izdeim seni” and more than four hundred others – gained wide recognition and remain forever in the hearts of the people.
