KUMU hosted an English-language event titled “Chyngyz Aitmatov and the Culture of Peace”

 At the B. Sydykov Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University, the newly established “kumu_peace_club” organized an English-language event called “Chyngyz Aitmatov and the Culture of Peace.”
During the program, students performed dramatizations and English presentations based on Aitmatov’s works, emphasizing themes of peace, compassion, and human values.
The event highlighted the powerful influence of literature in promoting understanding, harmony, and peace within society.
The Peace Club focuses on:
• Promoting the “Kyrgyz Citizen” concept
• Spreading peace education and universal values
• Developing leadership and teamwork skills
• Supporting personal and social growth of students
• Strengthening the culture of peace across the campus
This event marked the club’s first successful step toward fostering dialogue, peace, and values among students.
