A Regular Meeting of the Academic Council Held at KUMU

Today, October 28, a regular meeting of the Academic Council was held in the assembly hall of Building No. 1 of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after B. Sydykov, chaired by the Rector, Professor Abdilbayet Mamassydykov.

 According to the agenda, reports were presented by the Vice-Rector for the State Language, Social and Educational Affairs, Syrgak Sarykov, and the Director of the Department of International Relations and Strategic Development, Chyngyz Mamazhakyp uulu, on the activities for the 2024–2025 academic year. The work in both areas was recognized as satisfactory.

The third item on the agenda, as reported by the Executive Secretary of the Academic Council, A. K. Tentimishova, concerned the competitive selection for vacant academic positions. As a result of the elections, candidates were appointed to associate professor positions.

 It should be noted that the Academic Council of the university is the highest collegial body that determines the strategic directions of the institution’s scientific, academic, and organizational activities.
