Regular Meeting of the Academic Council Held at KUIU

At the B. Sydykov Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University, a regular meeting of the Academic Council took place, where a number of important issues aimed at the development of the institution were discussed.

The meeting was chaired by the Council’s Chairman, Rector of the University, Doctor of Economics, Professor Abdilbaet Mamassydykov. He emphasized that every decision adopted must contribute to the sustainable growth and progress of the university, and called on council members to actively engage in the agenda.
According to the agenda:
* Chief Accountant Salima Kurganbaeva presented the results of the university’s financial activities for 2025, highlighting key achievements as well as certain challenges.
* Vice-Rector for Administrative and Economic Affairs Kumar Misiraliev reported on the outcomes of the university’s economic activities, focusing on renovation works across faculties, the renewal of the material and technical base, and future plans.
* A report was also delivered on the implementation of the university’s Strategic Development Plan for 2025–2030.
In addition, the meeting reviewed and approved several internal regulatory documents, including:
* instructions on the procedure for drafting, registering, storing, and repealing local regulatory acts;
* the draft collective agreement between the rectorate and the united trade union committee for 2026;
* regulations on professional continuing education;
* regulations on incentives for the salaries of faculty and staff;
* regulations on information policy and on the university newspaper Planet of Friendship.
Throughout the session, council members actively participated in discussions, offering proposals and comments on all agenda items.
