From November 11 to 20, the B. Sydykov Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University is hosting Russian Language Week.
The event aims to promote the rich heritage of the Russian language and foster students’ interest in both the language and its literature.
The official opening ceremony was led by the university’s rector, Professor Abdilbayet Mamasydykov, who emphasized the significance of the Russian language in global culture.
Students of the “Russian Philology” program presented a vibrant concert program celebrating the beauty and grandeur of the Russian word.
Throughout the week, a variety of events will take place, including the charity campaign “Autumn Marathon,” the performance contest “Slavic Bazaar,” a literary café, creative exhibitions, and intellectual competitions.
This week has become a meaningful cultural event, encouraging creativity and deepening appreciation for the language, culture, and traditions.
