As part of a cooperation agreement between the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University (KUMU) and the non-state higher education institution Andijan University of Economics and Pedagogy, an important meeting was held focusing on the development of academic mobility in the field of English language teaching.
The delegation from Andijan University of Economics and Pedagogy included the Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Associate Professor Ismoil Nishonov; Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology (PhD) Yulduzkhon Mirzaahmedova; Associate Professors Makhmudjon Irgashov, Nodira Ashurova, and Nodira Jabborova, as well as university students. The guests were warmly welcomed by Chyngyz Mamajakyyp uulu, Director of the Department of International Relations of KUMU, and Zhannat Kadenova, Dean of the Faculty of History and Philology. During the visit, the guests were introduced to the activities of the centers operating at the university.
The parties discussed issues related to training specialists with proficiency in English, developing academic mobility, and improving educational programs.
This event contributes to the exchange of experience, enhancement of the quality of language education, and strengthening of inter-university partnership.
