The Kyrgyz –Uzbek International University hosted a special event in honor of Science Day – a creative gathering titled “ Exemplary Figures of Science” .
The event opened with welcoming remarks from the University’s rector, Professor Abdilbaet Mamassydykov, who emphasized that science and support for young researchers are becoming key priorities both nationally and within the university.
Following the opening, a formal award ceremony was held. Several KUMU scholars received Certificates of honor from the Jogorku Kenesh, the Osh city Hall, and the Osh city Council. These awards recognized the university’s significant contributions to the advanced of science and education.
The program continued with the creative meeting “ Exemplary Figures of Science” , which brought together distinguished scientists and emerging researchers. Participants exchanged experiences, shared innovative ideas, and presented their latest scientific achievements.
Honored Guests included :
• Mukhammedzhan Tashaliyevich Mamasaidov, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor – delivered a lecture titled “ A Scientist Who Reached Lunar Heights”.
• Abdurashit Gumarovich Nizamiev, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor – shared insights from his participation in international research projects.
• Maksatbek Osmonovich Sulaimankulov, postgraduate student at KUMU – presented on “ Prospects forb Economic Integration Between Kyrgyzstan and the Persian Gulf Countries”.
The event served as vivid testament to the University’s growing scientific potential and the rapidly increasing interest in research among young scholars.
