Drawing Contest and Exhibition held in Honor of Alimbek Datka’s 225th Anniversary

A drawing contest and exhibition dedicated to the 225th anniversary of Alimbek Datka, announced by Osh Mayor Jenishbek Toktorbaev, was successfully held at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after B. Sydykov.

The event brought together Vice Mayor of Osh Nurlan Zakirov, university leadership, faculty members, and students. A jury composed of experienced professionals reviewed the student’s artworks and delivered it’s final verdict.

University Rector, Professor Abdilbaet Mamassydykov, delivered a congratulatory speech, expressing gratitude to Mayor Toktorbaev for supporting youth creativity. He noted that the monetary prizes from the mayor’s fund served as a strong motivation for students.

Vice Mayor Nurlan Zakirov, speaking on behalf of the mayor, thanked the university administration for the active participation of students and the high level of organization. In honor of Science Day, he also presented several faculty members with honorary certificates from the Osh City Hall.

Based on jury’s decision, Banu Gapyrzhanova was awarded the Grand Prix for her highly artistic work, receiving a diploma and 30,000 soms. First place went to Eliza Ismailova ( 20,000 soms), second place to Toktogul kyzy Suyumkan ( 15,000 soms), and the third place to Lira Kochkenaeva ( 10,000 soms). Several active participants were also awarded diplomas and 3,000 soms each.
