The Rector of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after B.Sydykov, Professor Abdilbaet Mamassydykov, led a delegation on an official visit to Namangan State University.
During the visit, a meeting was held with Professor Abdugaffar Kygyzbaev, Rector of Namangan State University. The two sides engaged in extended negotiations focused on expanding cooperation between the universities.
As a result of the meeting, the following agreements were reached :
- Development of academic mobility programs to enhance mutual exchange opportunities for students and faculty
- Joint creation of dual-degree programs
- Establishment of a shared faculty between NSU and KUIU to promote educational service expert and deepen integration
- Inclusion of highly qualified professors from both institutions in specialized academic councils, with plans to form joint scientific boards
- Collaborative participation in international research grants, including projects funded by the Government of China
It was noted, that more than fifty students and faculty members from the Namangan State University are ready to take part in academic mobility programs. The initiative is expected to yield tangible results in the near future.
The development of a clear roadmap for further cooperation has been entrusted to Professor Davron Dzhonov, Vice-rector for International Relations at NSU, and Chyngyz Mamazhakyp uulu, Director of the Department of International Relations at the KUIU.
