A New Stage of International Scientific Cooperation at KUIAU

  On December 2, 2025, a scientific delegation from Fergana State Technical University paid an official visit to the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after Batyraly Sydykov, aimed at strengthening scientific and educational cooperation and exchanging experience.

FergSTU was represented by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor Tolibzhon Sobirzhonov, and Associate Professor Mukhammadjon Orinov, who became acquainted with the activities of the Department of Science, Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies (PhD), as well as the Engineering-Technological and Natural-Pedagogical Faculties of KUIAU.

The high-level delegation was warmly welcomed by KUIAU scholars: Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Almaz Karimovich Atabekov; Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Mederbek Maripzhanovich Ismanov; Dean of the Engineering-Technological and Natural-Pedagogical Faculties, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Jumagul Keneshovna Jeentaeva; Head of the Department of MS&T, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor Gulzat Kochkorbaevna Omurbekova; and Head of the Department of Science, Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies (PhD), Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Ilyazbek Erkinbaevich Isaev. During the meeting, promising plans for scientific cooperation were discussed.

The guests delivered a lecture to postgraduate students and undergraduates entitled “Noble Paths of Science”, emphasizing the importance of scientific research, the demands of modern science, and the prospects for the scientific growth of young scholars.

Discussions also covered the implementation of joint research projects, the organization of conferences and seminars, and the exchange of experience in training PhD candidates.

This visit became an important step in the development of friendly and scientific ties between KUIAU and FergSTU, opening new opportunities for joint contributions to science and education in both countries.
