On March 8, in celebration of International Women’s Day, a solemn award ceremony for the winners of the national contest “Woman Who Changed the World” was held at the Babur Osh State Musical Drama Theater.
During the festive event, faculty members of the Historical and Philological Faculty of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after Batyraly Sydykov were recognized: Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Philology, Candidate of Philological Sciences Rahilya Vakhidovna Alieva, and Lecturer of the Department of English Philology Elnura Almazbekovna Alekova, who were among the contest winners.
This achievement once again confirms the high recognition of the active role played by the university’s academic staff in education, science, and public life.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Osh City Mayor’s Office, the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Osh, the Russian House, as well as women working in various sectors of the city.
The winners received diplomas, letters of appreciation, and certificates for the purchase of books and educational materials.
The festive atmosphere was enhanced by a concert program featuring Igor Vorontsov, Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic, who performed well-known works dedicated to spring, love, and respect for women.
The university community sincerely congratulates its faculty members on this well-deserved honor and wishes them continued creative success and new achievements.
