On November 17, the International Medical Faculty and Medical College of the KUIU celebrated Student Day with a formal induction ceremony for first-year students.
The event began with the symbolic ribbon-cutting of a newly inaugurated ceremonial hall located in the university’s seventh academic building.
Rector of the university, Doctor of Economics and Professor Abdilbaet Mamassydykov, extended his congratulations to the students, wishing the new freshmen academic success, broad opportunities, and an active student life.
Speeches were delivered by Professor Jyrgal Samieva, Dean of the International Medical Faculty, and Nasyr Talipov, Director of the Medical College. They congratulated the future doctors and nurses on choosing their professional path. Certificates of recognition were also awarded to students who had distinguished themselves in academics and cultural activities.
During the ceremony, the university leadership, led by the rector, presented students with a symbolic “ Key to Knowledge” and library cards, officially welcoming them into student life.
The celebration concluded with a vibrant concert program featuring songs and dances performed by students, creating a festive and joyful atmosphere.
