The B. Sydykov Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University has concluded its annual spartakiad sports competition among first – year students. Over the course of four days, students competed in a verity of disciplines including volleyball, table tennis, chess, toguz korgool, mini football, and basketball.
In the men’s category :
- 1st place was claimed by the Faculty of Humanities and Pedagogy
- 2nd place went to the Professional College
- 3rd place was awarded to the Medical college.
In the women’s category :
- 1st place was won by the Faculty of Law and Economics
- 2nd place was shared by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Pedagogy.
- 3rd place went to the Faculty of Humanities and Pedagogy.
Teams and Individual players who demonstrated outstanding performance received cash prizes and certificates of appreciation from the university administration.
During the closing ceremony, University Rector Abdilbaet Mamasydykov delivered a congratulatory speech, expressing gratitude to all participants and encouraging students to continue engaging in sports and leading healthy lifestyle.
