Cross-Border Dialogue Platform of Kyrgyz and Uzbek Youth Held at KUMU

In the grand ceremonial hall of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after B. Sydykov, an international meeting titled “Youth of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan — Successors of Brotherhood” was held as part of the opening of the SCO Hall.

The event brought together official guests, diplomatic representatives, and student activists from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Russia. Presentations and program speeches were delivered, aimed at fostering cultural rapprochement between the two nations.

During the gathering, a presentation was given on the activities of the Diplomatic Center. Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Namangan State University, H. Kodirov, delivered a congratulatory speech and, as a sign of fruitful cooperation, presented Rector of KUMU, Professor Abdilbayet Mamassydykov, with a Letter of Appreciation from Namangan State University.

Vice-President of the International Issyk-Kul Forum named after Ch. Aitmatov, D. Zhumabaeva, gave a report on the project “Chyngyz Aalamy” and the global legacy of Aitmatov, and donated valuable publications to the university library.

Deputy Director of the Cultural Integration Center of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Stalbek Bekbolotov, highly praised the partnership initiatives of the youth from neighboring countries.

The future is in our hands — we will continue the unity of our two nations!” — under this slogan, Kyrgyz and Uzbek youth symbolically exchanged books, underscoring the enduring friendship between the two peoples.
