At the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after B. Sydykov, an international scientific seminar entitled “Scientific Heritage and Path of Development” was held, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Academician Bektemir Murzubraimov. The event was also attended by scholars and more than thirty students from Namangan State University of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The seminar was organized by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and the Faculty of Natural and Pedagogical Sciences of KUIAU under the leadership of the Dean, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Jumagul Jeentaeva.
At the opening of the event, the Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and State Language of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Syrgak Sarykov, delivered a congratulatory speech, highlighting the enormous contribution of the academician to the field of education in Kyrgyzstan, especially in the development of higher educational institutions.
Then, contemporary and colleague of the jubilarian, Academician Mahammadjan Mamasaidov, spoke. He emphasized that the anniversary was organized in a timely and high-level manner, and noted that honoring people who have made great contributions to the education system is an important example for the younger generation. He particularly highlighted Murzubraimov as an outstanding teacher and scholar.
Honored figure of the Kyrgyz Republic, Professor Topchubai Isakov, shared memories of his 50-year collaboration with Bektemir agai. He spoke about his foresight, responsibility, and diligence, and highly appreciated his contribution to the development of the university, which served as the basis for awarding him the title of Honorary Professor.
During the seminar, Head of the Department of Natural Sciences and Teaching Methodology, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Nurlan Uraimov, presented a detailed report on the biography of Academician Bektemir Murzubraimov.
Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of KUIAU Sheraly Egamberdiev and students recited poems dedicated to B. Murzubraimov, creating a solemn and inspiring atmosphere among the seminar participants.
Young poets who wrote verses about the life path of Bektemir agai were awarded monetary prizes on behalf of the scholar’s family.
The anniversary of Academician Bektemir Murzubraimov, who devoted his scientific and mentoring activities to the education system, was recognized as a significant inspiration for the younger generation.
