On December 10, in honor of International Human Rights Day, the Department of “State-Legal Disciplines” of the Faculty of Law and Economics held a week-long campaign entitled “Human Rights — My Rights and Your Rights”, which concluded with the intellectual competition “I Know My Rights.”
The competition was opened with a congratulatory speech by the Vice-Rector for State Language and Social Affairs, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Syrgak Sarykov. Following this, the Dean of the Faculty, Doctor of Juridical Sciences, Professor Almagul Kokoeva, addressed the participants and congratulated all the honored guests of the event.
The Chair of the Jury for the intellectual tournament was Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Syrgak Sarykov. The jury members included: Mirazhdin Egemberdiev, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences; Associate Professor Nazira Tilekova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences; Candidate of Technical Sciences Chynybek Adylov; and Jyldyzkhan Musurova.
In total, four teams participated in the tournament, completing five competitive tasks. Based on the jury’s evaluations, the teams were ranked as follows:
🏆 1st place — team “Myizam kuchu” (“Power of Law”);
🏆 2nd place — team LEX TEAM;
🏆 3rd place — team “Myizamduu muun” (“Lawful Generation”);
🏆 4th place — team “Adam jana myizam” (“Human and Law”).
In the concluding part of the intellectual game, Jury Chair Syrgak Sarykov highlighted the level of preparation of the teams, while Jury Member, Head of the Master’s Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Nazira Tilekova emphasized the relevance of the topic and the high quality of the event’s organization.
Parent representative Jyldyzkhan Musurova wished success to the university in its activities and encouraged students to use their time wisely and strive for quality legal education.
At the end of the event, the results of the week were summarized, and active lecturers and students were awarded valuable gifts and monetary prizes.
