“Ryspay Scholar” Sultan Boroshov Awarded the Title of Honorary Professor of KUIAU

By decision of the Academic Council of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University, in recognition of his significant contribution to the development of Kyrgyz culture, spiritual heritage, and the promotion of the works of the outstanding composer and performer Ryspay Abdykadyrov, the well-known public and cultural figure Sultan Boroshov has been awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the University.

The Rector of KUIAU, Professor Abdilbayet Mamasyidykov, presenting the honorary title to Sultan Boroshov, Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic, emphasized his many years of fruitful work in preserving and widely disseminating the creative legacy of the great composer Ryspay Abdykadyrov.

“Sultan Jumabekovich has for many years glorified the works of Ryspay Abdykadyrov on the international stage. On his initiative, an international club was founded, scientific research and publications were carried out, television and radio programs were produced, as well as creative projects of international scale. Thanks to this, the national musical heritage has reached a new level,” noted Rector Abdilbayet Mamasyidykov.

It should be noted that with the direct support of Sultan Boroshov, the Center for the Study of Ryspay Abdykadyrov’s Legacy was opened at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University. This center serves as an important academic platform for the systematic study, preservation, and transmission of national musical heritage to future generations.
