The “Mister KUMU – 2026” Contest Successfully Concluded at the Kyrgyz–Uzbek International University Named After Batyraly Sydykov

 The event brought together male students selected from all faculties of the university. Parents also attended to support the contestants, adding a festive atmosphere to the hall. To ensure fairness and transparency, special guests from the cultural sector of Osh city were invited to serve on the jury.
At the ceremonial opening, the Rector of the university, Doctor of Economics and Professor Abdilbaet Mamassydykov, delivered a speech emphasizing that each faculty was represented by outstanding students distinguished by their intellect, knowledge, upbringing, and integrity. The Head of the Department of Culture and Youth of Osh city, Eldiyar Kadyrkulov, congratulated the participants and wished them success.
The contest consisted of four stages, during which the jury evaluated the creativity, intellectual level, stage presence, and overall preparation of the contestants.
As a result, the grand prize of the “Mister KUMU – 2026” contest was awarded to Nurbol Saitov, a student of the Faculty of History and Philology.
* 1st place went to Iskak Nurkyiazov, a student of the Faculty of Engineering, Technology, and Natural Pedagogy.
* 2nd place was claimed by Jumabek Kamilzhan uulu, a student of the Medical College.
* 3rd place was awarded to Bektimir Abdysatarov, a student of the College of Educational Innovations.
In addition, special nominations were presented:
* “Strong Mister” – to a student of the Faculty of Humanities and Pedagogy,
* “Talented Mister” – to a student of the Faculty of Law and Economics,
* “Intellectual Mister” – to a student of the STEM Applied Vocational College.
The winners received valuable gifts prepared by partners, as well as cash prizes and diplomas from the Joint Trade Union Committee and the university rectorate.
The “Mister KUMU – 2026” contest was held at a high level and became a meaningful cultural event, revealing the creative potential and talents of the students.
