The distinguished guest was first welcomed by the Rector of the university, Doctor of Economics, Professor Abdilbaet Mamassydykov. During their meeting, the two exchanged views on bilateral cooperation and pressing issues in the field of education. Abdykerim Muratov presented the university with his books “Alimbek Datka’s Lament” and “Er Manas.” The rector expressed gratitude for these valuable works and wished the author success in his scientific and creative endeavors. In turn, Professor Muratov shared warm impressions of the university and praised the positive changes in the education sector.
Following the meeting, Professor Muratov delivered a lecture on the topic “Chyngyz Aitmatov – Ethnopedagogue” for students and graduate students of the Faculty of History and Philology, as well as lecturers of the Department of Kyrgyz Philology. He elaborated on the significance of ethnopedagogy, portraying Chyngyz Aitmatov not only as a great writer but also as an ethnopedagogue whose works embody the essence of national upbringing. He emphasized how Aitmatov’s writings deeply reflect Kyrgyz traditions and customs, citing the novella “Jamila” as an example.
The lecture was marked by lively discussion and a question-and-answer session. Participants noted the importance of organizing such meetings more frequently. Professor Muratov highly appreciated the enthusiasm of the students and the warm reception by the university.
At the conclusion of the event, Professor Abdykerim Muratov was presented with a certificate of appreciation on behalf of the university.
