Ismanov Mederbek Maripzhanovich was born on June 30, 1970 in the village of Karla Marksa (now Mangyt) of Aravan district of Osh oblast.

In 1987 he graduated from secondary school named after Karl Marx in Aravan district of Osh region.

In 1993, he graduated from the Mechanical and Mechanical Engineering Faculty of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov.

1993-1995 – engineer and lecturer at the Applied Mechanics Department of Osh Technological University.

1995-2002 – Lecturer, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Applied Mechanics at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek University (KUU).

1997-2000 postgraduate student at KUU on specialty 05.05.06 – “Mining Machines”.

2002 successfully defended his PhD thesis on the topic: “Justification of parameters and creation of a quarry stone sawing machine” in the specialty: 05.05.06 – “Mining machines”.

2018 successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on the theme: “Scientific and applied bases of creation of working bodies of stone-cutting machines” on the specialty: 05.05.06 – “Mining machines”.

M.M. Ismanov has been working as a vice-rector for science at KUU since 2011. For many years of fruitful work he was awarded the honorary title “Honored Worker of Kyrgyz-Uzbek University”.

As the head of the topics he is actively engaged in research and development works related to the development and creation of new samples of stone cutting and stone processing equipment.

According to the results of research M.M. Ismanov published about 80 scientific and methodical works, including more than 70 scientific articles, 8 teaching aids, 10 patents of the Kyrgyz Republic for the invention of original designs of new stone-cutting machines and methods of their application.
