A sports competition has started at the Kyrgyz – Uzbek International University named after B. Sydykov, involving first-year students from various faculties and colleges.
The main goal of the sports competition is – to promote students health, encourage a healthy lifestyle, among young people, and identify the university’ s top athletes.
The official opening ceremony took place on October 13, with the participation of the university’ s rector , professor Abdilbaet Mamasadykov , as well as the university administration. In his speech , the rector emphasized the importance of sports in the lives of young people, noting that such competitions help strengthen friendship, unity, and the development of team spirit among students.
The competition will run until October 17. Participants will compete in various sports including: volleyball, mini-football, basketball, table tennis, toguz korgool, and other disciplines.
Winners and prize recipients will be awarded cash incentives from the university. Such sports events contribute to strengthening youth health, increasing students interest in sports, and fostering an atmosphere of mutual understanding and unity within the student community,
